Who is responsible

Shanghai Rongchang Technology Co., Ltd. (brand: Rongchang Fabric) is responsible for the personal data described on this page. The company is based in Shanghai, China. You can reach us about anything here atsales@rongchangfabric.com.

This is a summary written for launch. It will be reviewed before the site goes live and updated if the forms, tools or service providers change.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us through the inquiry form, the sample form or by email. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not collect data about you from other sources.

Your name

So we know who we are quoting and who to address in the reply.

Business email

The address we quote, sample and correspond to. We ask for a business address rather than a personal one.

Phone or WhatsApp

Used only if a question is faster to settle by a short call or message than by email.

Country

Needed to work out freight, duty and delivery options, and to answer in your working hours.

Company

Needed to quote in the right trade context and to keep the record straight on the order documents.

Requirement details

Composition, weight, width, colour, finish, quantity, end garment, target market, delivery address for samples, courier account. This is what we need to quote, sample and ship.

Why we collect it

To answer your inquiry, prepare a quotation, send a sample, arrange production and arrange shipment. In short: to quote, sample and ship. We also keep the correspondence so that a repeat order is quoted on the same basis as the first one.

We do not sell your details, we do not rent them, and we do not use them for unrelated marketing. If you want a quotation and nothing else, you will not be added to a mailing list.

How long we keep it

Inquiry and quotation records are kept while the commercial relationship is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that repeat orders and any quality follow-up can be handled from the same file. Order, shipping and inspection records are kept as long as trade, tax and accounting rules require. When there is no longer a reason to keep a record, it is deleted or anonymised.

If you ask us to delete your details and there is no outstanding order or legal obligation to keep them, we will delete them.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers needed to fulfil your request — for example the courier carrying a sample, the forwarding agent moving the goods, and the dyeing, finishing or inspection steps involved in producing the order. They receive the minimum needed to do that job.

We do not publish customer names, logos or identifiable case details on this site. Where a customer reference is used, it is anonymised.

Cookies

This site itself sets no marketing or advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking pixels. Pages are served as static files. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated before that happens and the change will be described here.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you a copy (access);
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date (correction);
• delete your details where we have no outstanding order or legal duty to keep them (deletion);
• stop using your details for a particular purpose, or object to our holding them (objection).

Write to sales@rongchangfabric.com and say what you want us to do. We will confirm within a reasonable period and tell you if any part of the request cannot be met because of a record we are required to keep.

International transfer

We are based in China and we work with suppliers, warehouses and forwarders in China and with service providers in other countries. Details you send may therefore be processed outside your own country. We keep that to what is needed to quote, produce and ship your order, and we ask the parties involved to handle the information only for that purpose.

Security and changes

Inquiry data is held in the systems we use to run the business, with access limited to the people who need it to answer you. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so please do not send card numbers, bank credentials or other sensitive personal data through the forms.

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top.
